- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I had the great pleasure to work with Beverly and Juli a few weeks back. I can't say enough good things about the film commission in Placer County and the FLICS organization. Not only did they help me out with the locations, but they also put me in touch with local resources that made the process of finding help and locations not only easy, but extremely efficient as well. Also, the locations and resources up there are incredibly unique and professional, I can't express that enough about the area and people up there. I strongly suggest contacting Beverly and Juli if you plan on filming in the great area of Placerville. Thanks a ton for helping me out Beverly! - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Placer - Lake Tahoe Film Office is an awesome group to work with when planning a movie. Our film crew/cast is based in Los Angeles and were having problems finding locations through local film commissions. We were very fortunate to have been put in touch with Placer-Lake Tahoe Film Office. Placer-Lake Tahoe Film Office asked what we were looking for, sent tons of photos of various locations that met our descriptions, and made all the arrangements for scouting, permits, owner correspondences, etc. While driving up to scout the location, they emailed us to know if our journey was going okay or if we needed any additional help or directions. They even wanted to know if we'd like to meet for lunch. Very personable!! Placer-Lake Tahoe Film Office has a wide variety of amazing locations at affordable rates and they will be there every step of the way to arrange your location.
